With most of the trees loosing leaves noticed a huge development off Route 8 near Old Stratford Rd/Bridgeport Ave in Shelton. Anyone know anything about it looked interesting.

If it's the area along Bridgeport Avenue, it's going to be a luxury apartment complex called The Mark. To my knowledge, it's going to be pricey. Studio apartments starting at $1500, and 1-2 bed apartments around $2k.

Big things are happening in the Valley.

As Bpt said, many of the new residents of the Valley towns are former lower FFC residents. It's cheaper than Stamford and still commutable to their jobs. The area is getting quite expensive though.

you have to be on crack to spend 1500 for a studio in Shelton, they'll be dropping those prices.
THis place would cater to the Shelton/Trumbull corporate park workers. Dont think many from the Stamford and Norwalk apts are leaving for Shelton. I'll happily spend a couple hundred more in rent over a Shelton to Stamford daily nightmare. Exactly the problem with the area, too many suckers willing to do that and clogging up the highways.
