I've been hearing some very odd favorite sport team combos here in Connecticut. I find it odd that someone's favorite MLB team would be the Yankees but their favorite NFL team to be the Patriots. It's not uncommon too. In that case, is this true for you too? Choose which one best represents you in the poll.

Here are the choices:

Baseball:
Red Sox
Yankees
Mets
Other

Football:
Patriots
Giants
Jets
Other

IMPORTANT: remember to choose one in the baseball category AND the football category. Let's see which teams CT likes the most.

I don't meet many Mets fans since the Yankees dominate the NY market. Bills included as well. Quite the miniority.

Great Grandfather umpired for the Yankees and was a Yankee fan up untill 1973. Then switched to the Mets till the day he passed. Even snuck out of the assisted living once to see a Mets and Yankees Subway Series Playoff game. Was Mets or cheer for the Red Sox to beat the Yankees growing up.

Don't want to get too far off topic since it's a MLB and NFL forum but you made me tempted to do so. Back in the 80's I went to an Oilers game at Northlands Coliseum which is no longer their arena but that arena is probably the darkest/dimmest place I've seen hockey in. It was a beautiful place during its time but you can tell as soon as you walk in that it was aging quickly.
