They got it right in the ad. Pretty much all CT is a pass through state for NY or Boston people. They don't really have much culture (lol nightlife in Waterbury...brass city baby!).

The cavet would be Stamford, but then again that's an ext of NY.

Good job McD's...I'm sick of all these CTers acting like this is some almightly state cultural pride.

The ad says CT is the dividing line for sports teams (Yankees vs Red Sox).

Where is anyone hating on CT (other than the OP)?

Paul Newman was a lifelong resident of CT and loved it here.

Someone is twisting things for their own agenda on here, again.

I wouldn't consider what goes on in NYC as culturally desireable & the rest of NY suffers from association with it. Boston? Who cares about Boston? Never been there & never will.

Not very interested in urban dictionaries but an apt definition of NY would be dump and a good one for MA would be Americas little socialist experiment.

Sad but NE as a whole gets a bad rap because of the proximity of NY & MA. I'm sure theres people who like it there but they should reign in their legislatures & ego's.

I am new to City Data Forum, and am outraged at the amount of hostile and non-constructive dialogue that goes on here.
What purpose does bashing serve, whether it is CT bashing, New York bashing, or any other bashing?

As a Bostonian I have never heard this moniker for Connecticut. In my opinion Connecticut is one of the best states in the union. On it's own terms!
