I typed in my address on Zillow.com and was pretty surprised at the value of my home.

Does anyone know how accurate the website is?

not very.....looked at it a year ago when our house was going on the market....I think they had us at about what we listed for. Now the price is lower, but states that "recently sold for 312", not correct even, sold for 299! (way low but we were desperate to get rid of it after 8 mos!), and their zestimate is 320. I've heard similar stories from other folks in different areas.

It is of questionable value in real estate circles- and from what I have read at the numerous real estate blogs.

I think it is wildly inaccurate. Not only does it list my house as smaller than what it is, it says it is worth about $100K more than I could sell it for at this moment.

It's not even close to accurate, or worthwhile.

Guess it depends on what part of CT
you reside in.
My house is fairly accurate.

It doesn't take into consideration the condition of the property.
