Does anyone have any experiences here. I'm thinking about doing the Master's program. What's their reputation? Pros and Cons.

Post University is NOT a decent place to go to school or to work. I worked there for a few short months & disliked nearly every moment of it. They have very low standards, so they accept all the kids that couldn't get into the state schools. They also have a high price tag, so the school spends more time chasing the kids & parents for the cash than teaching them. I helped a few struggling kids with their assignments & was horrified at what the teachers were assigning! One English teacher had assigned a Ray Bradbury short story, but he/she just googled the titled & printed out the first thing that popped up (which turned out to be a page that was translated back again from a Russian Web site...making it very difficult for this already struggling student to understand.) I had an 11 week old son when I returned to work & got a lot of flack for needing to pump milk for him in my CLOSED office. I was told to use a bathroom, but kept getting walked in on by some guy from the Registar's office (not cool). I was ignored when I complained & persuaded/pressured to quit & switch to formula (again, not cool AND illegal). I find that those in charge are on crazy power trips, the students are often intensly violent, grades are bad, moral is bad, and the school does little to fix it. I would not recommend this instituion for either education or occupation to anyone!

I've lived in CT my whole life and of all the great colleges in state, I've rarely heard anything about that one. Wouldn't be my first choice for sure...

have you looked into the online schools? there's tons of them out there now. personally i can recommend American Intercontinental University (AIU). they are a fully accredited institution with brick and mortar campuses in various cities (Atlanta, London). the online school is based in Chicago.

I vaguely recall that they used to be called Teiko Post University and had something to do with Japan. Not sure that makes a difference for this though......

It used to be Teikyo Post, because it was owned by some Japanese corporation. Then around 2004/5 they sold the university and dropped the "Teikyo" from the name.

I went there in 2004 for a year for undergrad...small, crappy school with very limited resources.
