This is pretty cool. Monterey now has its own Depot Museum, built as an exact replica of the old depot in the same location in historic downtown Monterey. Monterey used to be somewhat of a summer resort town. Passenger trains used to bring people from Nashville who would come enjoy Monterey's cooler summer temperatures in one of a half dozen hotels that used to exist around the old train depot.

Thanks for sharing this. I'll have to check out the Monterey Depot on the next trip. You've also convinced me to make a stop at Ralph's Donuts in Cookeville.
