We will retire ( we are in mid 50s) next year and looking forward to move to a more scenic area of TN. We are looking at the Cookeville area. We are looking for a small lot ( under 1/2 acre or if larger with lots of trees) in a neighborhood without HOH or on a street with a few other homes ( not completely isolated). We would like to be about 10 minutes away from a nice size supermarket and not more than 20 minutes from other shopping. We are looking to build a 1800 Sq feet home in the 180k. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I don't know what HOH stands for so I guess that means we don't really have that around here. But what you described is pretty much Cookeville. I found several lots under 1/2 acre that I think fit what you're looking for.
