The Norwegian Epic visits Nassau every Friday during the winter on seven-night Eastern Caribbean sailings out of Miami. Last week a berth was not set aside for it and it was turned away.

Oops! Nassau forgets about arrival of giant cruise ship

This is SO strange. How could it happen? Trainee, maybe?

It's a good thing that getting there is half the fun.

This has been an ongoing problem for going on a year. Carnival and RCCL have also been turned away. The port is too small to accommodate the mega-ships, and as more and more go into service, it's going to become an increasing problem.

Not that I would believe the cruise lines would deceive passengers but if this has been an on going problem they haven't stepped up with a simple computer program... Who is going to be there ?When? Sloppy or just want to fill the ships??

I don't work in the industry, but from the way it looks, it was the local Port that failed to schedule a space for them.
