What about having Hassan Rouhani as Time's Person of the Year for 2013? Or would this result in a (dramatic) decrease in sales for Time Magazine?

Question 1 - no, I don't care what Time thinks

Question 2 - I hope it is Malala Yousafzai, for her youth, determination, passion for education and impact on the world.

Snowden. who would've thought a low-level agency subcontractor could hack his way into the innermost secrets of NSA intelligence gathering operations? and more importantly, understand their far-reaching implications for individual privacy & 1st amendment righs? Not that it will substantially alter how these agencies devour & digest peta-bytes of communication info without cause or warrant, but at least they're on notice that the American public is watching.

No.

Personally, I hope it's Miley Cyrus just for the laugh factor. Sibelius would be another good one, given the gaff that is Obamacare.

Print media is desperate for sales so it wouldn't shock me if they go for something "popular", shocking or both.

Watch them pick a panda bear.
