Honestly, it's people like him, Vick, OJ, etc, that are why I don't allow football on my TV. I want nothing to do with them. The good ones are few and far between.
Football players have good and bad just like every other profession. How many lives ruined by greedy corporate bigwigs and Wall Street traders? Do we call them thugs and not allow any CEOs in our homes as a result?
Plenty of NFL good guys just as there are corporate good guys. It just isn't as sensational to get people to click on the story.

Now I've heard everything. Talk about a straw man argument.
BTW, just who are these corporate thugs? Maybe we can play a game. You can start by naming one corporate thug who's beat up his girlfriend, committed murder, taken part in date-rape, or electrocuted his dogs, and we'll respond with one from the sports world. Then we'll go back and forth, and see which "arena" has more!!

There are sociopathic corporate thugs who are abusive to women (google michael arrington abuse allegations) and murder people (google executive murder) and ruin lives (google sallie mae student loan ceo) although electrocuting dogs is pretty rare even in the NFL. Not a straw man argument at all.

I'm not defending Ray Rice's actions at all here, but you people make me sick. First of all, you moust be a couple of sheltered opies if you think these corporate dudes aren't out here doing all kinds of grimy stuff behind closed doors- though I will concede they're better at keeping their stuff on the DL.
And there are plenty of NFL players trying to help out. But the lazy, reactionary types such as yourself don't get as much exposure to these stories because the media knows its juicier to focus on their crimes to feed into your paranoia over the "Scary Black Man epidemic" sweeping pro sports.
Are Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Tracy Lawrence, Tommy Lee and David Hasselhoff thugs too?
