The best crock was how the "world would suffer" had she been convicted. You mean she wouldn't be able to globe-trot while pretending to have a job? As in when, years ago, she confronted John Paul II (who always countered crass with class) with a harangue about the church not allowing contraceptives?

No one would have gone to jail for that, especially for a first offense. Famous or not famous, guilty would have been the same as DUI, 3-6 months loss of license and fines.

That's hardly the point. Guess you missed the little fact that she was found NOT guilty. She was guilty as sin but there's zero responsibility with that bunch of freaks and criminals.
