If the end results are the same, getting a terminally ill patient to stop suffering, then why do you support someone doing it themselves but not another person giving them the drugs? The end result is exactly the same..

Doesn't the Hemlock Society give advice on suicide? I know they don't just post it and they have some regulations on whom they provide information.

If you really want to die, you can figure out a way to do it. But it should be supported by the medical community in instances where a person is terminally ill.

In the documentary that I mentioned earlier, one woman set the date when things were getting too painful for her. There was someone from an organization that assists; she prepared the medication for ingestion. The cancer victim died quietly, painlessly and surrounded by loved ones.
