While children can be annoying in public, screaming at a two year old gets you nowhere!! I think this is going to impact the business in a negative way. The owner claims to have yelled at a husband not a child, but gee whatever happened to being civil?

Maybe if you can't help going all Mel Gibson on a young child, then running a business that entails a lot of interactions with families probably wasn't a wise career choice - just a thought.

Yes it will impact them, but only in a good way.

Rough owner mixed with bad parenting. Both could have handled things differently. I've walked out of restaurants with screaming babies although I would have preferred to stay. It's called courtesy.

Meh. With a name like Marcy's Diner and the fact that it serves cheap breakfast it will stay in business.

Parents control your kids, stop being lazy under the guise of teaching them a lesson. Take them outside if they start getting crazy. It always worked with my kids.

Kid less baby boomers, genxers, DINKS. stop being so brash and abrasive about children, we get that everything pisses you off. And your tolerance for anything is very low and you always feel it is your duty to inform parents about their kids behavior... But you never know who you might lose it in front of and what kind of impact it might have on what you really care about.

One CEO in an incident involving a toddler on his flight has lost everything that was near and dear to him. His paycheck.

I don't care if the family was wrong (and from this article, I don't think they were) - this business owner is kookoo for Coco puffs. I think it's sad that some people are sticking up for this ******, as the article states.
