What are sons and daughters planning for their mothers on the upcoming mothers day.

My Sis and I are taking my mom to the Casino on Saturday for some fun and on Sunday making her favorite dish of marinated lamb tips on the grill.

I also realize that many may have mothers past...and some with no relationship at all.

Grilled lamb tips sounds delicious by the way! As both my mother-in-law and mom are out of state, we still try to make Mother's Day special for them although they are far away from us. A phone call is always nice and we are sending scented candles this year.

My mother, myself and my youngest daughter are all getting together (with our families of course) just to spend the day lounging around on the patio, watching the little kids play in the backyard, enjoying this time with our favorite moms.

Since no man has offered to cook anything, we're not cooking either - it will be a big sandwich spread with lots of different meats and cheeses and chips and salady types of things - on paper plates! LOL

My daughter and I are getting together to make a wreath for my mom's front door since they just moved into a new house.

I'm sure we'll Skype with far flung family members (Guam and Austin).

Nothing fancy, just lots of love among the generations.

An email saying "happy mother's day" which is way more than she deserves.
