I vote no, but I do believe numerous threads need to be merged together.

I say yes. We need a central place from which to view all those fascinating threads about cops, such as recent threads re cops biting people in the testicles or buying them a nice dinner. IT'S ON!

I voted no.

There's not topic more "current" than Police Corruption.

Eventually it'll change when people stop talking about it, or our government actually decides to do something about it. The security of our citizens is a MAJOR issue. So it should come as a great concern.

Outside of financial issues, I don't think there's a bigger American issue than Corruption. And Policing and our Justice System are the head of the problem. I would say most people, those who don't live in dangerous neighborhoods, have more issues than Police than a criminal.

I could be wrong but that's just what I'm gathering. We have 25% of the WORLD's prison population and 1 in 3 Americans has a criminal record.

I think we should actually solve some of our problems for once. This is an issue, that after much division, is actually bringing people together. And ultimately, I think it will result in a safer society for Police and the average citizen as well.

I created this because it's getting harder and harder each day to come to this forum and find any current events that aren't police related. And those that aren't get buried very quickly.

Well, there's also a sizeable contingent of threads re Islamic extremism, but those posts aren't yet scraping the bottom of the barrel like the cop posts are.
