It's always scary when someone like this lives with children. Animal control took a dog away from them last week. Too bad they did not take all of the animals. There are still some left with the family. Grandma needs to do a little time, hopefully the max, 3 years.

Someone should smash all of her fingers and toes with a hammer.

... because the grand kids would not clean their rooms?

WTF?

Should've just gone to GoFundMe instead and said, "Buy me a Roomba or the kittens will die 2nite!!!!!"

Sick lady. You know this wasn't the first time she hurt an animal. Sad.

Mick

What a horrible, heartless person. I hope she has to spend at least a bit of time incarcerated.

She should be put into a bottom cage at the animal shelter where the caged cats above her can **** on her daily.

Grandma didn't seem to be concerned she could face legal trouble... confessed immediately. Maybe she thought here behavior was normal?

Everytime you don't clean your room... grandma kills a kitten.

I don't know about you, but that would have made me clean my room immediately. Even if I didn't have a kitten.

I think the local authorities or even the laws are partly to blame here as well. The article says when they removed the dog from the home last week due to abuse, they "offered" to take the cats too, "but the family refused". They shouldn't have a choice, if you think one animal is being abused take them ALL. I really feel for the poor girl.
