Seeing that killer clown standing on and burning the American flag made me more upset than when he was waving the Confederate flag yet the outrage is toward that crossed bar symbol of heritage ??
When the "Brothers" in prison get done with this racist killer he needs to get a history lesson at the hands of veterans who fought and bleed for the American flag, if there is anything left of him that is.
Seriously..these days I've practiacally forgotten the names of the shooter and the 9 dead. All I'm hearing about is how we HAVE TO GET RID OF THE CONFEDERATE FLAG and all the statues, etc too. Where the hell did all this come from? The confederate flag is repped by people all over and has been for years with hardly any issues at all and now all of the sudden we need to get rid of it cus of some lone wolf? And in the south a white person who listens to anti-white black rAPPERS like boosie and plies, etc. is just as likely to wear the flag as any kinda "racist" or w.e u wanna call em.
And how come black on white crazy killings happen damn near every day in America and the news doesn't even bring up race when covering them, if they do at all? And believe me in MANY of those cases they can find that race is the main motivator by just looking at the perps twitter/fb, etc but they choose not to being it up. On the other hand nearly every single white on black killing in AMERICA is put on blast in the news for weeks and months because it is so rare. Should we start getting rid of black items too particularily black pride ones since I'm sure many they have been worn in many of these senseless RACIAL black on white killings that aren't called racial.
Food for thought.
It came from the superficial PC crowd that think if we get rid of an item then it will solve all our problems. A loud vocal minority, mostly young, that use social media to get their way.
They are only surging because people won't be able to find them soon. Amazon, EBay, Walmart, Sears, etc are pulling all confederate flag merchandise.
When Hostess went under people were paying hundreds of dollars for boxes of Twinkies, is this really more surprising then that? This is not a statement about race IMO, it's a statement about the weirdness of human behavior when something, anything, apparently, becomes scarce.

I predict that plenty of other places will pop up to take up the slack from walmart, kmart, etc.
If you are from Little Rock you should remember Hillary as First Lady of AR celebrating Confederate Day every year.
`
Are you talking about Robert E. Lee Day? It is a state holiday in Arkansas and a few other southern states usually celebrated on or around Martin Luther King Day. State employees get a paid day off.
I think of far more importance than some old flag is the fact that we have yet another killer taking drugs.
They might get the flag removed from public places but removing entirely is not gonna happen. Its fairly common to see in the South.
The irony of stereotyping someone as racist for flying the confederate flag is not lost upon me.
There is no evidence that he was under the influence of drugs when he killed those people, nice try though. There is evidence that he loved him some confederate flags... and the particular flag he adored and that has become so dearly loved in the south isn't even the official confederate flag, it's a "battle flag". It was only after 1948 when Strom Thurmond and his gang revolted against the integration of the military that it became popular.
So just like the EU decided that it wasn't cool for people to wear Nazi uniforms or have Nazi flags on display, most of the Southern State legislators either have, or are in the process of restricting the use of the flag on public buildings and grounds. That flaming liberal Jed Bush did that in Florida 14 years ago. Whether your state legislature decides to restrict personal display or not is a matter for them to decide..Obama's not taking your wretched flag away but you might have trouble buying one because no major retailer wants to sell them anymore
making a dyed piece of cloth illegal is not the answer to any problem
anyone in government suggesting this should be fired
people...or should I say sheeple...suggesting this need to go back and re-do grade school
Now that the Confederate flag has been judged "offensive" and it must be wiped from public view there's more rumbling that Civil War Statues must go as well.
Also, a mass renaming of schools and public buildings must commence NOW!
If we're to be consistent with Hillary,Barrack etc well then let's take a jackhammer to Stone Mountain in GA and Mount Rushmore as well as many of the statues on the Capitol Mall.
Former Presidents as slave holders must be erased from view as well, we don't want to be glorifying those racist slave holders.
GEORGE WASHINGTON (between 250-350 slaves)
- THOMAS JEFFERSON (about 200)
- JAMES MADISON (more than 100)
- JAMES MONROE (about 75)
- ANDREW JACKSON (fewer than 200)
- Martin Van Buren (one)
- William Henry Harrison (eleven)
- JOHN TYLER (about 70)
- JAMES POLK (about 25)
- ZACHARY TAYLOR (fewer than 150)
- Andrew Johnson (probably eight)
- Ulysses S. Grant (probably five)
