Video camera?

This reminds me of a question I heard posed a couple of weeks ago when a young boy asked his mother, "How are you going to pay for that if you didn't bring your credit cards?" I guess he hadn't heard of cash.

Yeah I just saw someone post he had a GoPro. Just stupid not to have a phone in this situation.

Especially with the birthing center so far away!

The linked video says that they arrived at the birthing center 15 minutes after the baby was born.

Of course none of the math adds up...the video says that the birthing center was 90 min from home, and they'd been driving 45 min already.

But all that matters is that the baby was born easily and is healthy, and he has two mature, calm, collected parents. I am impressed with the maturity of the young couple. Seems to me like they might be religious, being married so young, having 3 children already, and they're so well-adjusted and happy.

That was crazy. The husband should have pulled over and called 911. That baby needed a blanket, and to be safe in the car. Glad it turned out well for them, and good job mama! I screamed my head off when I gave birth, too, it HURTS lol

It's not like he was holding the camera with one hand and the steering wheel with the other. As I understand it, the GoPro was attached to his arm.

Good on them that their story has gone viral. What a strong, composed young woman at age 22.
I do, when you're driving a car.

It's proven that humans cannot really multi task. Try watching a movie on TV while you're online. It's one or the other, you're not going to be able to do both and know what's going on in the movie.

There is no way he didn't constantly take his eyes off the road to look at her. Which could have resulted in disaster.

They sound like two real rocket scientists, they pick a birthing center two hours from where they live and don't have a cell phone.

Ever noticed and wondered why births in cars and odd places tend to take much less time than those in hospitals, where it seems to take for hours.

Always found that odd.

The mother is 22 years old. Some people would say that having three babies by the time you're 22 is irresponsible. It's certainly not doing what's best for the children...you can't possibly give each child enough attention and care when the births are that close together.

So dad exclaims, "We did it!" Seriously? Maybe I missed the part of the video where he delivered a 10 pound baby too. WE didn't do anything, SHE did.
