I don't use pain pills... But is Tylenol solely for headaches? Or does it also alleviate other types of pain?
Good point, Exerdrine is, mainly, for head aches. Tylenol can be used for all types of aches and pains, I am sure exedrine could be used for any type of pain as it has aspirin in it, but with the addition of caffeine.
Ads like this sit well with millenials. Since they're young, they've got a whole lifetime of headaches ahead of them that will need to be medicated. Each loyal customer they can attract is an annuity that could last 50+ years. Even if the ad offends a portion of consumers, they would tend to be older and have shorter remaining lifespans, which means they are a lot less valuable as customers.

I find it odd that cereal companies and the makers of pain relief medicine feel it is their place or their duty to promote a social engineering agenda. At what level of these organizations are these efforts being directed from? Is there some sort of a connection between these companies at that level?
I find it odd that people like you can't distinguish between trying to increase market-share and social engineering. Oh, wait-- scratch, that-- I don't find such an inability all that odd. In fact, it's sadly predictable.
Oh-- and you're still upset over General Mills supporting marriage equality in Minnesota? That was over two years ago now. You really should get over it.
I want headache relief from Tylenol, not political statements. Some companies would probably be better off staying out of political hot-button issues. Personally, I'd prefer all companies just try to sell me on the merits of their product and not their stance on social issues.
SPRINT has also taken on this new way of advertising focus...
Their latest ad says something like, "Some families have a mom, a dad and a dog, while other familes have 2 moms a sister and a brother'... or something like that anyway... I heard the ad to what seemed like seconds after the Same Sex Marriage ruling.
Males have more head ache's than females? I thought women were more likely to say, "...not tonight dear, I have a head ache...".
Here's how I put a stop to that....
I went home one night and tossed my wife a bottle of asprin.
She asked me what that was for... I said it was for her headache...
She quickly told me she didn't HAVE a headache... at which point I pointed her to the bedroom and said, 'GOTCHA!"...
(the above post was a joke, and didn't happen in real life... Had it, I'm sure I'da had to call her my ex-wife as she'da divorced me... lol)
