A lot of people have this belief that herbivorous animals are peaceful animals, because of the portrayal of such animals, like bison, deer, hippos, elephants, etc on TV. Such portrayals don't show the fact that these herbivorous animals can be quite deadly, causing more deaths of people than the predatory animals.
Mother Nature's command of the English language has deteriorated badly of late.
We don't listen to her anyway, as we mold the planet for.our liking, and give the other inhabitants reserves, or treat them as a nuisence. We're beyond words, at this point severe weather, angry animals, incurable diseases, is about the only way left to get her point across. And will somebody remove this stupid emoticon?

That's irrelevant, because Yellowstone National Park has quite a few signs - literally, they're at every campground, trailhead, scenic overlook, boardwalked thermal area, etc. - warning of the danger of animals. And many of the signs specifically cite the danger of bison in no uncertain terms, which injure far more park visitors than all other animals combined.
How anyone cannot see those signs, or fail to take them seriously, is beyond me.
