An old biddy across the road complained about her neighbor's BBQ smoke. A bylaw enforcer arrived to enforce and read the law that makes it illegal for BBQ smoke to leave your property. Damned nanny state libs.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have read today. It looks like those gentlemen have a neighbor trying to harass them.

This is the most absurd thing I've ever seen. A law like this was made possible by people who actually had to vote to it. That's scary.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! No court of law would uphold a fine for that infraction unless using a BBQ was a violation of the HOA covenants.

Simple solution. If your BBQ smoke is going to drift onto your neighbors property, then be prepared to share some of your ribs with them.

That's not "nanny state libs," that's a conservative standing up for private property rights. Do what you please on your land but don't dump your waste on mine.
