Or too much irresponsibility. What is a mother of an 8 year old doing out driving, drunk, at 3:30 am? Being out at 3:30 am, okay. Whatever. IF you have a babysitter and IF someone else drives you in the event that you were drinking. The story makes it seem like she went out that late in the morning , purchased the bottle, and drank half of it. Irresponsible even without a child.
It was NOT 3:30 am. This took place at 3:30 pm when the local kids were out playing baseball.
She would be better off leaving her daughter at home for an hour. 8 year old can handle being inside on her own for an hour or two without baby sitter.
But leaving children unattended is illegal too...
Too many laws.
The girl was trying to stop her mother from driving drunk. She did not want to be left, she wanted her mom not to drive.
She still has the daughter because its only alcohol. Its a government approved medication with zero harmful effects (except DUI's), its not like she is pot smoking drug addict
Does she have her daughter? She is charged with DUI and child endangerment. She is out on bail. Btw, she drove to a liquor store to buy more alcohol
Yes its a disgrace!!
