Tourists who recently visited the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland were shocked by misting sprinklers that evoked memories of Nazi-era gas chambers disguised as showers.
Israeli media reported that Israeli tourists felt like the shower-like misters were insensitive to the memories of the Jewish people that were killed in gas chambers during World War II.
They're probably also wondering why anyone needs that "cooling mist" because back in Israel, it's pretty darn hot, so they're not put off by hot weather at Auschwitz.
Couldn't it also be argued that going to Auschwitz as a tourist is in bad taste, as well? Thousands of people were murdered there. It's not the Grand Canyon.

So misting showers in insensitive but what if tourists start passing out due to heat exhaustion? Wouldn't that be a bit worse if people are laying all around passed out?
Some people are always on the look-out for something to be "offended" about.
I see no reason to give them publicity.
