The company that ran the train apologized, now there is an 11milion dollar lawsuit. Lesson? Why apologize?
Allegations they say 2 of the women lost their jobs based on what was said on Twitter? So sue the train company, not the company that fired them based on a twitter tweet.
The article says they routinely kick people off the train for being rowdy, but most of them are not African American. It would be interesting to find out how those people were treated, was the police called on them, were they scolded and made to walk through the train cars while being escorted off, made to stand around for 20 mins waiting for the police, etc. It really seems like a he said/she said type of situation and it will be interesting to find out the actual facts.
Nothing makes up for a minor inconvenience like a million dollars. How about don't act like a bunch of fools and you could stay on the train?
