Allegations they say 2 of the women lost their jobs based on what was said on Twitter? So sue the train company, not the company that fired them based on a twitter tweet.

Good for them. They won't get the 11 million, but they'll get something. Or at lest the train company would think twice before doing this again.

99.9% of the lawsuits are by whites?

You know why that employee won their case? There was racial disparity in the issuing of discipline for virtually the same infraction. This employee was fired for doing the same thing several black employees did during the same time frame. The difference was the black employees just received short term suspensions.

The wine train operators were totally in the wrong. They treated the women poorly, seated them poorly and hello it is a booze train, when on earth is thT a quiet place.

I went on it a decade ago at lunch time and it was basically like being in a busy active restaurant where people are laughung, joking and having a good time.

You folks do realize that anyone can file any lawsuit in this great country, and that just because a lawsuit is filed doesn't mean that plaintiff will prevail. So hold your (FB) rage and disgust until there is a settlement or verdict.

Why are people automatically assumiing the women were loud?

Well that depends. Is there free-flowing wine everywhere else?

Or they might just get a lot of legal bills if the case is dismissed and their lawyer demands they pay up for their time & expenses.

If that train company had any sense, they would file a counter suit for defamation and start filing a lot of papers against those women and lawyers. You will see the original case dropped real fast as they will start having to pay to cover the expenses.

I hope they win . No way the train would have kicked off white women for enjoying themselves, ya know being human, being excited about their trip.

What group stays quiet on a train going to Napa Valley . Oh how could I forget, white people who are always so considerate of those around them .

To you simps saying crap about 'playing the race card' and 'the ghetto lottery' you all have no one to blame but yourselves since hey who created racism and benefits from it? You all do.

I guess black people are supposed to accept meaningless apologies cause hey, we are so forgiving. Bull!

I saw the interview between one of the ladies kicked off the train and the spokesperson from the Napa Valley Wine Train and if that was an apology, save it.

Like white people wouldn't seek monetary damages in this situation. Please.

The world learns to be greedy because you all set the example. Thanks!
