I personally know of an incident in a southern state where a couple of patrons followed an off duty cop out of a bar concerned about how drunk he was, and called 911 as he was all over the road, it was dropped and the woman who reported it said she was harassed later on.

Not buying it.

Exactly. It's part of the professional courtesy that goes along with the job, they cover for their own.
Body cams for all cops. Not on during a job you get a major reprimand. Second violation you lose your job. Problem solved!!!!

And, are you one of those with a murderous mindset who will be wringing your hands with glee when it happens?

This is different, too. The man is on duty. His duty is not picking up trash. It's protecting the citizens of his area. Instead of doing his duty to protect them, he is victimizing them.

Get the difference?
I misspoke when I said "hate and vitriol against him" when I should have said "against the profession as a whole".

I would hardly call the Suffolk County, NY PD podunk. They're also among the highest paid in the nation.

That is where the drunk cop was who killed a pedestrian was protected.

To me, that's the most important thing.
Such nonsense. Ignorance with a capital "I" abounds when it comes to a topic such as this one. And, such ignorance is often displayed on forums such as this. Those that have an interest in 'kiddie porn' are unlikely to act out their 'fantasies' on actual children. Similarly so with people who have an interest in 'porn' in general ...which appears to be MUCH of society!

Based on the remark in the above post ...God only knows what much of society is capable of since MUCH of society is into internet porn . . .
