How did that work?

If he shows up to class, he gets expelled for having a weapon at school and if he skips the class, he gets an F.

Kind of a no win situation it seems.

Oh for cryin' out loud! This is seriously going overboard. Here is a good one for you. Do any of you when you were in school remember taking little pieces of paper, folding them up and shooting with a rubber band? My son's school policy is if caught it is a mandatory 3 day suspension, and if caught a 2nd time it is a mandatory 5 day suspension with a recommendation for a weapon's charge.

Such total and absolute bulls**t!

How the Hell can the damn PC police go this far?

What ever happened to playing cops and robbers, cowboys and Indians, soldiers, etc????o

When I was a kid, a hundred years ago, when bored, I doodled guns, bombs and rockets. I guess I would be in an insane asylum today, or a mass murderer in the eyes of the friclin PC Police.

This madness has to stop. you really can't pick up a turd by the clean end.

Was he "pretending" to shoot the "arrow" AT SOMEBODY ELSE?

I still think it is pretty absurd, but if he was aiming his imaginary arrows at other people, then that is a little different isn't it?

Whatever the actual case, a 3 day suspension is ludicrous. If he is 6, he is either in K or 1st grade. A stern talking to would impress upon him just how serious their zero tolerance policy is.

Kids are kids. Don't they still play "cops and robbers"?

Even today I can turn on the TV and see reruns of The Rifleman, The Lone Ranger, Gunsmoke, and so on. Two or three people killed every 30 minutes, without fail.

Anyway, as I've said in another thread, the people running the schools have turned into a bunch of not cases. Or, maybe it's the current American culture? The people calling the tune are nuts.
