Why is this news. This is their family's business and is something most parents with teens have to deal with at some point or another. I'm sure they'll do fine, despite this sensationalistic and quite frankly sexist story.
This. I am no fan of Obama but this is normal family business and IMHO, unless their kids do something terrible and he abuses his Presidential powers to get them out of trouble, his family deserves some privacy.

The most positive thing I can say about Obama is that he does seem like a very good Father. Teenagers doing stupid sh#t is the norm. I hope no one tries to politicize parenting because a teen is acting up.
So when it's the 17 year old daughter of a Democratic party president, it's no big deal. But when it's the 19 year old daughter of a Republican party president it's national news and a subject of ridicule for years.
