Now they have a coyote and a turkey problem.

I took a walk into that holler whilst visiting once. I swear, there was either a deer or a turkey behind every tree. A true, traditional Thanksgiving dinner would be easy to do. The deer aren't very big. Nothing like a NV Muley. But there's enough of them to make up in number what they lack in size. I can't see deer becoming extinct in WV even with year round hunting.
We've got a bunch of coyotes where I live and they have had an impact on the number of turkeys we have around here...and pet cats as well.

Multiply all that by 1000 Seriously, it would take 2 trucks to move the guns and probably 3 to haul the ammo. Yes you can have the money to buy all those guns and still be white trash.........

Hunting can be expensive. Or more properly, one can spend a lot of money on hunting. But where I was living until a couple of weeks ago, a deer was the price of a cartridge. Wake up, open front door, look at field, three out of seven days, there is a deer browsing within 50-100 yards.

Turkey were even more common. Every single day, a gang in the driveway.

Sure there are other costs but unless you are including the cost of land, hunting can be done rather prudently in terms of cost

Still I have never had trouble bagging all I wanted there. If I really need to my immediate family has about thousand acres with a lot more woods on it.

Now after deer season I do have access to many many properties for yotes and hogs.
LOL......When you said a little land I thought of the people I have seen buy 5 acres for hunting land.

We figure 40 acres per hunter is about right in our area.

That would not be legal in Michigan.

The land is VERY important.

No you don't have too at all. You just need to know the deer you are hunting and plan way in advance.
