Stories like this just make me shake my head. Like, I feel dirty after reading it. What a POS.
I need to watch some cute puppy videos on Youtube to cancel her out.
or videos of runway models faceplanting in the middle of a fashion show. Those always make me feel better. Nothing says failure like forgetting how to walk.

They are walking in shoes that don't fit (sometimes by several sizes), in unnatural clothing, with lights in their faces and not being able to look down with an unnatural gait. :roll eyes: Of course they fall from time to time.
If a man buys an exceptionally expensive trophy wife, he really should be understanding that she is expensive and is going to cost him some serious money and not be surprised when it comes time to pay for the pretty arm ornament.
Man, she needs new fur coat each year worth more than my annual salary.
But I can't blame her.
The Saudi billionaire knew it all along, she's in for the $$$$$.
I think she should get it purely based on her husband taking a second wife, I don't care what she plans to spend it on. Forget that, she should get more (he is worth 11 billion!!!)
If you are worth $11B you should be able to pay some advisor or another who makes sure you get a prenup before every marriage. That is the only smart financial decision if your goal is to collect trophy wives.
Western rules of marriage do not apply here. She voluntarily married a Muslim therefore Islamic rules apply. She joined Islamic culture via her marriage, the Saudi prince did not leave Islam. Islam allows men to have multiple wives so the prince did not do anything wrong by taking on the second wife. There is no basis for excessive or punitive damages. Estrada should just take the 49 million and consider herself lucky to get that.
Marriage laws follow the rules of the place the marriage license was issued in. So while it may be legal to have a few lives in Saudi Arabia, it is not in the UK. And it looks like that's where they established their life. Up to him to follow the rules of the place he resides.
Under islamic law, there is no sharing of assets or alimony. Alimony used to exist for a short period of time and was abrogated. But the woman is advantaged because she does not have to contribute financially at all. This makes much more sense.
I don't understand how in the west men have allowed their women to sue them into giving up their house, savings, which they often owned prior to the marriage. Once the marriage has ended, no spouse should be able to be entitled to their ex's property.
...Once the marriage has ended, no spouse should be able to be entitled to their ex's property.
Yes except the property that was earned while they were married.
Even prenup only exempts property before marriage. Prenup doesn't apply on property/money earned while a couple is married.
And that's fine by me.
What boils my blood is those suckers who marry and then divorce to get half of ex's property that includes his hard earned money before marriage as well as ancestor's handed down real estates.
You can't get half of my life's earnings just because you sleep with me for few months after legal marriage.
That's too expensive. There are way better options for much cheap.
