Of course I would never "force people to adopt..."; they're free to choose their own paths. I just seems like first: adoption appears to be underutilized and second: the types of measures being discussed seem to have more to do with the "parent"'s psychological (perceived) needs than anything else. Producing a new life in an attempt to address one's anxiety seems extreme.
