I'm not. Some fates are worse than death. If she had "survived," it would have been as a turnip. Based on the stories of how long she underwent CPR on the plane, her brain was simply without oxygen for too long for any meaningful recovery to have happened.
OMG no! When I saw George Michael died I was surprised and saddened, and my thoughts immediately went to Carrie Fisher. Just awful. They said she was stable...I really thought she would pull through.

I know! The word "stable" is usually positive. But I was thinking that if the reports were true that she wasn't breathing for 10 minutes... well, you know... "I have a bad feeling about this".
I wonder if she was pronounced brain dead, and the family waited a few days before letting her go.

But George Michael has been addicted to crack and heroin for at least 30 years and by all accounts was having all night parties at his house up until the day he died. So most likely his death was an OD

I know what you mean and I agree, in my post I meant I hoped she would have recovered...not merely
existed.
