For clarity, this was not a "biker gang" MC like the Hells Angels or the Pagan's.
Yeah, those guys are 'angels' and harmless guys just having a good time biking with their buddies on beer runs. So sayeth some of the City Data forum members (just saying in general here and not directed at you).
It's sound advice to, whenever possible, stay back or even head in a different direction and simply call law enforcement.
The moment a gang of people surround my vehicle and begin attempting to disable it or gain entry, however, I will use my vehicle defensively as a weapon. Where doing so alone proves insufficient to neutralize the threat, I will absolutely begin to shoot people in their order of proximity if they continue to approach or attack. It's that simple.
I'm not sure why he got out of the car either. He had a reverse gear and bikes behind him. I would have pushed the bikes behind out of the way and then made of the nearest populated area.
Does it really matter if they were affiliated with a well known group of criminals or not?
The typical behaviors and motives of the Hell's Angels, who are an organized criminal enterprise, is very different than these stunt bikers, who while scofflaws, do not behave the same as an organized crime operation like the traditional biker gangs.
I think people are interested in the motives behind criminal actions and the criminals who commit them because it can lead to a kind of predictability of behavior of specific groups to which one can react accordingly.
They sometimes show up here and I call the cops every time.
Since I haven't seen them in the last year or so, I think all of the calls to 911 have kept them off Las Olas Boulevard.
Are these people raised by themselves?
Seriously what kind of moron acts like that in public?
