Yeah, my head hurt so bad for like a week straight. But that was it. It's because the caffeine intake was taken away all at once and all of a sudden.

I still don't understand:

1. How someone can die from caffeine
2. How someone can physically drink that much

Doesn't make much sense to me.

Again, I think it's been established it was the content of the energy drink - not necessarily the caffeine. Hell, if regular caffeine killed people like that, we'd all be dead - given that many of us drink a ton of coffee each day

But almost nobody drinks that much that fast. If he was a fairly new user of caffeine, he might not have had nearly the tolerance a lifelong java freak has, on top of the massive clout of caffeine he ingested.

My husband and I enjoy coffee.

Will the actions of few stupid people lead our intrusive and controlling government to ban all caffeine products in time? Only time will tell. Maybe they'll just place an extremely high tax on all coffee products, like they did with tobacco. They'll do it to save the children... while all the sheep bleep "Amen!"

A society that permits the actions of stupid people to rule over everyone else...............
