I don't think Steve meant that literally. I've been aware of that symbol nearly all of my life, and it is truly interesting to know for certain. Thanks .

The dog is a stray......and I hope someone who was there decided to adopt him.

Nice story until you find out the dog is homeless.

The dog had obviously been someone's pet previously, as he was very well socialized, friendly, and well-behaved. He did not appear to have been homeless very long - he was well-fed and reasonably clean, from the looks of things.

I hope he gets a good forever family with music-lovers!

"So this dog walks into an orchestra... "

Wait, I think I've heard this one!

I think the odds are good someone will take him, judging by the reaction of the musicians and spectators. Look how intelligent and friendly that dog is. Doubt many can resist that pooch. Hope he gets reunited with the owners if they are seeking him.

The historic setting made this story extra cool too.

This ^^^^^ (the bolded).

I later read some of the other links from my search, and was sad to read about the homeless dog problem in Turkey. Directly related to the bolded above, after reading about the problem, my first thought was 'there has to be a dog lover of sufficient means in the audience' (not the orchestra, as I believe they were visiting from another country).

He probably wasn't a stray for long because he seemed pretty comfortable around people. Poor thing. Maybe he was abandoned and was just lonely.
