Well, if she had killed them, then a decade or two from now she'd probably be ordering a Bloomin' Onion for her last meal.
PS - I wonder, in Australia do they have crappy chain restaurants that are supposedly 'American' but are really just generic food? I mean, turnabout is fair play, right?

To me, there is nothing Australian about Outback Steakhouse.
Judge ordered her "to stay away from drugs, alcohol, and weapons". Pretty sure some medications ( drugs) are what can aide her in becoming stable.
I'd order her to stay away from her parents...they need a protection order against her! How is it that she gets out on bail? Florida seems to be the place to go to batter parents or shoot kids....
This question again? She gets out on bail because, as per the Constitution, bail is not to be used to punish the accused; it is used only to assure she will attend the legal proceedings she is facing.
Why do people think people should be held on bail if they are not risks to flee the jurisdiction of the court?
Because it occurred in Florida. "Journalists" troll the news wires daily looking for weird stories out of Florida to utilize because there is some bizarre value attached. As if weirdness doesn't exist anywhere else in proliferation in this country.
This is not the reason for the proliferation of weird stories emanating from Florida.
The reason is because Florida, unlike other states, has what is called the Florida Sunshine Law which is a set of laws that guarantees public access to the public records of governmental bodies in Florida, including information on fresh, unresolved legal cases.
This gives journalists a lot of weird cases to work with.
Hey those Bloomin Onion's will make you do craaaaazzzy things!
