Nobody deserves to die before they have much of a chance at life.
That said, an unwed, teen dropout mom. The baby's father that can't seem to stay out of legal trouble. Multiple firearm charges. Likely he would have been charged with a felony at his next court appearance. Plus he beat her azz a time or 3.
Hate to think it, but the deck of life was stacked against that baby with those 2 as parents.
I agree that there are a lot of opportunities in the USA.
I also think that this last 3 or so years lots of these opportunities have diminished for some.
I know darn well that my dollar just doesn’t go as far as it once used to.
The current financial situation (or climate if you will) is very capable of making some people desperate and desperate people do desperate things.
It’s a shame and it shouldn’t have to be this way.
