Yay it is Friday !!! goign to be 95 & toasty here today
I got payroll around 4 yesterday so I am going to go early
I have a little laundry to finish
my PT exercises
and a ton of phone calls
Now that I have the business phone I and going to call and see about reducing the minutes I have on our family plan
I can remove the unlimited text plans I only get 2 or 3 and hubby maybe the same each month so paying 15 or 20 cents a text is cheaper than the $10 unlimited fee
hmm lol I may even call the cable company and do my 6 months "I keep getting calls to switch to dish so what kind of discount can yo give me not to" call last time it was $20 per month
Another day with contractors here. Our grader is already working. I can hear him across the way. Our pavers should be here soon but the asphalt plant is about 3 hours a way It's going to be along day.
We also have to visit with my stepdaughter today...but hubby will most likely change it due to the contractors. She wants to show us what she did to her bathroom. Remodeling is in the blood
Just the normal. I will do the treadmill while watching the cooking channel, lol and do some laundry.

Hi, there.
Did the 3 miles today. It was a humid day and FULL of skeeters. OMG, I've never been so attacked by them as I was this a.m. I stopped to make friends with a beautiful Shelty this a.m. and when I stood up, I had to shake 5 skeeters off me! That's not to mention all the ones I swatted during my walk. I'm going to make sure I put my bottle of Off with my sneakers so I don't forget to spray myself any more.
Well, today's the final day for the roofers. We expect the building inspector to drop by first, make sure everything's ok before they finish up. He said they'd be done by noon.
I think the only other thing on my list today is to make a quick run to Publix. We need some staples. Good thing payday is Monday.
Karla, I would work for you in a heartbeat. You take care of the folks - very nice. I bet the prep chef who got the raise was quite pleased. I had a co-worker who used to say, "Don't praise me...raise me!"
Pattie I was watching the news last night and there was a segment on skeeters and what skeeter stuff works
They said stuff with Deet is suppose to be the best
They said the basic way all the skeeter stuff works is it blocks your scent from the skeeters
I would hire you in a NY minute pattie !!!

Shadow & I have been for a quick hunt this morning. Shadow is now supervising the 5 people who are at my house getting ready for the auction. Today they are getting all of the goodies out of the chicken coop, giant shed, and giant old barn. Everything but the furniture has been removed from the house and that means.....
....that I can go back to unpacking now that the rooms are no longer full of someone else's stuff. Well, as soon as the furniture comes out I can resume unpacking.
Yesterday we found a box of books with a note stating that they were all published prior to 1875. Pretty cool stuff going to be in the auction tomorrow.
Long walk out of the way and to cleaning and odds and ends today. I got talked into hosting an Amway party for my friend, not really a party kinda a mock party. She is new to the business and needs to practice for the real parties (of course with her mentor here too). She asked me last night and how could I say no? Thankfully Bob rescheduled his golf outing to Saturday and Tricia and the girls are going to the Ottawa Fair with her BF. I just pray that I get no pressure from the "mentor" cuz I just put up with a Kirby salesguy a month ago and am in no mood to be pressured to buy products I can't afford!
Anyway that will be my day and ending up with dinner with the family at the Blyfield Church that the girls have had camp at all week. Funny, it is down the street from the house Bob and I owned together before moving south, dam$ guy who bought it is not taking care of it at ALL, I am sure the neighbors would like to shoot me!

on my way home from the bank I had hubby (he went with me so we could stop at Krystal's for a biscuit) drop me at my friend Hirokos so I could visit
OMG you ladies needed to be there
she was cooking for company and a friend of hers also from Japan came over to help
ok waaaaaay to many veggies she made a white eggplant/onions/green peppers saute thing
and Asian noodle nests that you dip into this sauce
it was quite the interesting cooking lesson I watched
It was cool watching. they used chopsticks instead of a big spoon
rofl she sent me home with some for hubby
he doesnt like green peppers so not sure he is going to eat it
So both are up for grabs if you all want
I had never seen white eggplant before
