Oh God, butter and shortening---yikes! I see that the cake is hollowed out, that makes sense, but just a white layer of something between would work instead of doing that. Man, can you tell I'm hungry??? Spent the whole time I was taking a shower brainstorming over what's for dinner tonight! The kitchen is in total chaos, everything is all over the place thanks to a somewhat impromptu decision to paint it.

Good news! I got the part time office job!

I googled the cake and got a feeling about what was in it, it is a lot like whoopie pies which I made once........very old fashioned recipe, between Nick and I they did not last long. I have a feeling that I would be the one eating it if I made it and I can't handle the fat

Congratulations! Are you going to quit at the store, or see if they will accommodate you?

I'm going to stay for awhile working just the weekends, if they let me after I bow out of next weeks schedule. I get a 20% discount and on clearance items I can buy really expensive clothes under 20.00. If they are not happy with me than I guess they will have to tell me I am through.

Hi all.

Back from big shopping. Easy dinner tonight..BLT's and fries

Connie-What's wrong with your tongue?

I see you got side tracked, lol. What color did you paint your kitchen?

Pattie-How was lunch?

I saw that recipe but I am going to try Amber's recipe and maybe do a chocolate ganache for the final coat.

You can make it from a box mix! Use any type of already made frostening for the filling too then get chocolate already made frostening for the top.
