You can never have too many plants. Somehow there's always room for just one more.
We are back. I must have walked 500 miles over those days. My legs feel like it anyway. Had fun. Went to a riverboat casino, a minor league ball game, some restaurants, a lock and dam (yes, you heard that right, ladies. I know you're green with envy). But, my stupid tongue has some crazy soreness on it, on the side where the big burns were from radiation, so my eating/drinking was greatly affected--not that I do much in the way of eating, but I give it a good try.
Anyway, one restaurant we went to was called "me and Billy." Later on that day, at the ballgame, they announced that "me and Billy's" was one of the sponsors of the game, so anyone named Billy or Bill or William, etc. could come up and get free tickets to a game and a coupon for 'me and Billy's' restaurant! So, Billy got 2 freebies out of that, since he's a junior and his father got them, too.
Oh, and we went to LeClaire, Iowa where the
American Pickers show is from. We went to their place, then checked out the riverfront area. It is really a neat little town. Sort of touristy, but still clearly a hometown.
Be back tomorrow. Have a good evening.
