Good morning everyone
Happy Monday !!!

Well I am going to go and "dig in the dirt" in a little bit
I want to get the new plants in as well as the mulch down, might even get the lawn mowed

I have saved the paper form the past couple days to put down before I mulch to keep the weeds away

I have a lunch meeting at 11:30 so gonna try to have it all done by 9:30 -10

lol I was going to say I wanted to get started before it got hot but omg it is already 80 the humidity is 85 % so the heat index is already 85

Pleeeeease send me some fall !!!!!

So what is on everyones "plan 0' the day" ?

We should be out there weeding, but we just can't get too into it, because it's still hot and humid here, too. I think I'll just tell people that the weeds are "Florida native plants" and leave it at that. Think it'll fly???

Not sure what's going on today. Feeling a little sluggish. Squeaker felt good enough to sleep with me and wander up and down my side of the bed most of the night. That's ok. She's feeling better.

The party yesterday was nice - lots of good food and drink. There were 3 people celebrating b'days all around the same time, so we even got b'day cake! woohoo!

Have a great day, all.

I am glad squeaker is feeling a little better pattie

well the plants are planted and mulched
the lawn is mowed and let me tell you I don't think there is a part of my body that isn't dripping with sweat

It started to sprinkle and the wind picked up while I was mowing but I kept going because lol it felt so good

I still have a few bags of mulch in the back of the 4-runner but you know what lol it can stay there till tomorrow !!!

ok off to shower for my 11:30 lunch meeting

wow talk about perfect timing I just looked outside and it is pouring !!!! lol heck if I knew it was going to do that I wouldn't of had to blow the grass off the driveway

Gardening is in my very immediate future too. We have to overseed the lawn, and I'm sure I'll find a few weeds to pull. I wish we would get the rain the weather channel keeps promising us. It's still in the high seventies here. We still had kids swimming in the river!

Yesterday my family and I walked our hineys off. My poor JRT was knackered We did so much and it was a lot of fun spending the whole day with my three best buds (hubster, son and dog!). I've now got to go through all the photos I took. There's a few hours of my day booked up.

Well, I'll be heading out for my morning walk in a few. Hubster has the day off so hopefully we'll get a few extra things done around here.

TTFN

Congrats, shannon. That is a big step.

Took Squeaker to the vet again. She got some more water injected and another prescription; this one for appetite stimulation. Yep. Viagra for the mouth. Anyway, at least we didn't have to have her force fed.

Hey peeps!

Well, yesterday was going to be relaxing until my agent called & told me someone wanted to see the house at 5:00. Now seriously, who looks at houses at dinner time on a Sunday? So I spent my afternoon de-furring and de-footprinting my house. It poured yesterday so there were many muddy feet prints on my nice white tile.

This morning I had to be at the barn at 7 so we could take the horse trailer in for maintenance. Nobody mentioned the place was 90 minutes away out into the middle of nowhere. And there is a lot of middle of nowhere around here. Lots of corn & soybeans, KWIM?

Shadow & I took a quick walk in the dark this morning before I left. Here in a few minutes if it is not raining we will head out for our cookies.

O.K., question answered. Apparently people who look at houses at dinner time on Sunday are serious buyers. They are coming back tomorrow for a second look.

They got here early and I saw them as I was heading out with Shadow. It was a man and his agent. I am guessing that he is bringing the wife back to see it.

Everyone cross your fingers!

Fingers crossed, Evey. Florida misses you!

Doin' the happy dance! Miss Squeaker has been eating for the first time in several days (I think 5). And (more importantly) she's keeping it down! Yay! Thanks for all your support, gang. We're not over the hump yet, but we see the top. Now, if these pills DH is on his way to get work, we'll be extremely grateful.
