Good morning, all. Following Karla's logic, today would be two turtle doves, and one day closer to Christmas.
DH is on his way to Naples for a "different" B&N. I haven't been able to convince him that B&N is B&N, no matter where you go, so he's off.
I'm headed over to Marty's for coffee soon, shortly after I wash the floor. Later, I'll get the chisel out for the bathrooms and maybe wrap the last of the Christmas gifts. Once I do that, I'm ready for Father Christmas, as Tet would know him. That is, unless DH decides he has to have cookies this year.
How about you folks? Are you ready for the holidays or are you a last minute kinda person? And what's on the agenda for today?
Morning all!
I'm a few gifts shy of being ready, but with the Internet it will take away the wrapping and shipping, so I guess I'm better off than some.
I'm not doing anything Christmas related today, just cleaning, paying bills and laundry. It's raining out and a little warmer than yesterday so maybe a pot of Chili for dinner.
Yesterday our traffic was so horrible here (the mall is right down the street) that it took me more time on the road to get to the stores and back than I actually spent shopping! What I like about this area is we have the Hoover Police Dept out directing all the traffic on the busy intersections, so no accidents
Well best get hubby's breakfast ready he will be home from work soon. Have a great day all.
Going to do that! Got sloppy joes ready for hubby for dinner and Chili is cooking in the crock pot. So I have the cooking done for a few days of dinner. Tomorrow night is our office Christmas Party so that should be fun. Now it is on to laundry and cleaning:~)
Well, usually I am all done shopping before Thanksgiving and I get all of my decorating/wrapping done Thanksgiving weekend. This year I have not even given Christmas a thought. Part of my brain is recoiling from this, and part of me kinda does not care.
We have found about 80% of the kitchen. We just got to plug the fridge in about an hour ago and we are waiting for it to get cold so we can get some groceries. In the meantime we have been to Home Depot to buy a toilet tank and some curtain rod hardware. Currently making a pit stop at MIL's house to pick up some stuff.
Wow-you're confusing me Pattie! I don't know that whole song, but I knew that was wrong and so what is it? 12 Lords a' leaping?
Anyway, speaking of leaping, I did the 30 minute lessmore cardio, now I'm going to fold some laundry. Or not. Some people can fold their OWN laundry, right about now.
