Ahh, the 80's were just about perfect. But I understand about it not being the easiest place to sell. That place on Mockingbird is great. But so out of place on that street.

There's another one on the northeast corner of Southwestern and Turtle Creek. Google map street view still shows the old house that occupied the lot.

I was also thinking it reminded me of this guy's place who I babysat for in the 80's! lol. He looked a bit like Steve Gutenberg and wore way, way, way too much cologne.

I agree. I actually know the family that built it and lives there. It was actually for sale, last time I checked anyway, but with no sign. We also looked at another home in HP which was very modern. Would be a very cool house except for the fact that it was in HP and looked ridiculous with all of the traditional homes surrounding it. Had a rooftop pool, 4 levels and an elevator. It sat on the market for quite a while. I like homes like that if they are on huge lots in a very natural setting. Sticks out like a sore thumb in such a traditional neighborhood, but that's just my opinion.

Ugh yes...shivers

Someone built that style of home in the middle of a bunch of Tudors in the M-Streets. Screams "I'm an attention *****" to me, when it is built in a neighborhood like that

I think you have to be gay, live in San Francisco and be a "super lib" (not just a liberal) to live in one of those. =D

Just kidding!!!

I think that room looks like something out of American Psycho. I still like it though.
