Exactly. 500k won't buy you anything in Highland Park, University Park or Preston Hollow. It's minimum 700k around there. Lakewood/M-Streets are cheaper, but 500k won't go nearly as far as it does in Plano.

In sum, 500k isn't what I consider affluent. But that's just my snobby opinion.
