So far I have reports on a 15 year old death. Any more? This is why I hate raves...well and the fact that I hate techno, but Jesus Christ, who the he'll goes out on X in 110+ degree weather

Most of it was indoors in the Automobile bldgs along the Esplanade - I believe there were two DJ's on either end. There was a requirement of 18+ and you had to show a proper ID to get in - not sure how a 15 yr old passed through.

But one potential problem is that you could not bring in water. You had to purchase one of their Insomniac bottles and then refill for free. Not sure how much that initial purchase was. But it seems like very poor judgement to force purchase of water in weather like this.

Geez, with it 104 degrees, can you imagine how hot it must have been in that crowd? They were reporting here that some 30+ peeps were transported to the hospital, along with the one death.

^^^On top of which, I would imagine there were a lot of people rolling on some designer drugs there (Ive never been to a rave without being offered X). That stuff raises your body temp about 2 degrees. Too much heat.
