Just re-visited El Fenix in Uptown, no bueno rice was bland, meat was seasoned in this weird juice stuff, not very good at all this time around. Last time we went, it was good

Service was also pretty bad.

Anamias, how I miss you right now

I haven't been to the Uptown one, but I've been to the Addison one, which is still called "Manny's Uptown," and wasn't impressed. Should have just stuck with the Blue Goose across the street.

I've alwaysed liked Blue Goose, but they really want to fatten you up. I mean, you are obligated to eat all they bring you, right?

Add me to the list that doesnt like El Fenix at all. I love Anamia's and Matt's. Manny's is pretty good. There is also another place in Coppell I ate at once which was pretty good but the name is escaping me at the moment. The joys of aging.

We ended up going to Matt's yesterday and we returned today. It was great and it was not hot.
