I hope I didn't sound prejudice our rude above towards hispanics because that's not the case, My wife and I are just overwhelmed and had heard about the friendliness of Texas but Houston has really soured us on that.

Any information you can provide would be great, Thanks.
I totally agree with theSUBlime. You should move to either Lubbock or Amarillo. You'll never find what you're looking for in Houston or Dallas.

We stayed in West Plano. I thought it was really nice.

If you're looking for friendlier folks, definitely move further west and to a smaller city. But if you're looking to avoid Hispanics, Lubbock and Amarillo are not for you. Both have very large Hispanic populations.

Now you're finally coming around. Why don't you just move out of the US or a small hill-neck town outside of those places.

Check out Sherman-Denison, that area may suit your preferences. An hour north of DFW.

I appreciate your reply but the job is in Irving and that's too far of a drive. I think we're going to give up Dallas and Texas as a whole and relocate outside of the state.

Thanks for almost all of the replied !

I don't get it. What exactly are you running from? Are you saying that you feel like you're living in Mexico when you are in Texas? I'm guessing that you are looking for a place that is more black and white. You must be from a really small town in Tennessee LOL.
