Hi Dallas! My husband and I will be in your area this weekend for some football and to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We are looking for suggestions for a romantic dinner Saturday night. We are staying in Arlington, but are willing to drive for a great evening. We are pretty open when it comes to cuisine and would like to spend no more than $150.

Please let me know any suggestions! And thanks ahead of time!

We like Perrys, but there are tons of options in Dallas

Eddie V's Uptown Dallas, excellent steak and perfect Banana's Foster. Before that there's a wine bar 'Cork' you can go to and sample wines and champagnes in a casual atmosphere.

With wine/cocktails, it will be difficult to get out of Eddie V's or Perry's for $150.

I'd suggest:
The Grape (Greenville Ave in East Dallas)
Sambuca - bonus points if you like live music/jazz (Uptown/McKinney Ave)
Cru - wine bar with great dinner menu (Uptown/West Village)
Medina- sexy little Moroccan restaurant (Victory Park/Uptown)
Cafe Izmir - Middle Eastern, complete with hookah bar next door (Greenville Ave/East Dallas)

All are great food & vibe/ambiance without busting your $150 budget!

Great list. I would add Torelli's too. Very nice Italian place that just reopened after a fire. It's across the street from The Grape.

If you are into Brazilian Steakhouses, sign up for Texas de Brazil's email list. They will send you a buy one get one free coupon for your birthdays and anniversary. We've done that a couple times and eaten a nice meal for about $50. I'm kind of getting tired of the place, though...unfortunately my husband loves it.

I think we have narrowed it down to Terreli's and The Grape. Since they are right across the street from each other, we may just choose when we get there. I will let you know our experience! Thank you so much for your suggestions!

The Dakotas

It's down town and hidden under ground. You simply pull up to the Elevator by the street and let the valet park your car.

You'll probably need a reservation for The Grape. Not sure how likely you can get seated by walking in....especially on a Fri or Sat night. Brian Luscher is one of the best chefs in Dallas.
