plan on relocating to arlington, tx with my 2 children, ages 10 and 15. would like to know of some good schools and neigborhoods.. would love to be there by the summer.

The only decent high school in Arlington is Martin High....which is in southwest Arlington. What is you housing budget? You can also look into the charter schools in Arlington.....the Classics Academy or Summit International Prep

I think Lamar High School is still pretty good. However, it got caught in the crazy state ranking system as unacceptable while producing National Merit Semi-finalists each year.

But the feeder middle schools into Lamar are awful. Lamar is also very marginal.
