nice pictures! Wasn't the weather last week/weekend absolutely gorgeous! I got my mums/pansies and ornamental cabbage planted in the front flower beds as well as the rest of the Halloween decorations out.

It really was a great time to work in the yard. We got a lot of stuff done too.

I do like the cooler weather we're having today also. It's a nice change of pace.

which direction is the picture taken from?

The new Main Street Gardens bounded by Mercantile Bank, Statler Hilton/Grand Hotel, Old Dallas City Hall and Titche-Goettinger (Univerisity Center) is going to be quite the destination soon.

It's taken from the north, in Uptown. (McKinney and Hall Streets)

Such great pictures. I remember when I was just a little kid going with my Mother to downtown Dallas to shop. I would look up at the tall buildings and get afraid thinking that they might fall on us. Real good shots, especially the AA Center, well all of them. Thanks.

Nice pics...Not sure if a lot of people know or not but it seems most fridays there is a band playing during the lunch hour at main and akard...nice way to relax for anyone working downtown.
